Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SYKE ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

SYKE provides an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for AI code impact analysis, including dependency graph visualization, cascade analysis, and build gate checking. The Service is available as a free tier and paid subscription ("Pro").

3. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly ($12/month) or annually ($99/year). Cortex subscriptions are billed monthly ($29/month) or annually ($249/year).
• Payment is processed through Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, no questions asked. For details, see our Refund Policy.

6. License Keys

License keys are personal and non-transferable. Sharing, selling, or distributing license keys is prohibited and may result in account termination.

7. Free Tier

The free tier is limited to 200 files per project. These limits may change with reasonable notice.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Share or redistribute license keys
• Circumvent usage limits or license restrictions
• Use automated means to create accounts or abuse the Service

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content remain the property of SYKE. Your code and data remain your property — we do not claim any rights to code analyzed by the Service.

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The MCP server runs locally on your machine — your source code is never transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly use AI analysis features with your own API keys.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

12. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SYKE be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Service.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
